The home is in a neighborhood with 5 and 10 acre lots. The property is approx. 65 feet above sea level, on the edge of the Florida Highlands, so it is NOT in a flood zone. Approximately three of the five acres on our property are cleared. The back of the property is heavily wooded. The front of the property is less wooded. There are cedar trees lining the perimeter of the property for privacy. We have tried to keep the property as close to it's natural state as possible. The immediate area around the house is cleared to avoid trees falling on the house during storms. The property contains pine trees, oak trees, palm trees and cedar trees. At present, the 5 acre lots on each side of us are undeveloped. The property has two sheds, one 8X8 and one 8X10, a 20 X 20 concrete slab that is up to code, and a 100 yard shooting range. We have a hotwire fence in the front yard to keep our dog in. There is a lot of wildlife in the neighborhood. We have some wonderful neighbors. The house has an L shaped kitchen, dining room and living room area, which is very spacious and roomy. The kitchen is very large, with 3 counters on one side of the kitchen, with both upper and lower cabinets, and a counter with upper and lower cabinets on the other side of the kitchen. There are a total of 23 cabinet doors, and 10 drawers in the kitchen, plus a shelf above the refrigerator/freezer. Above the three sets of upper cabinets, there is room to display items, or store containers. One counter and lower cabinet set is connected to a higher "bar" which can accomodate 2 or 3 bar stools. The bar serves as a kind of division between the kitchen and living room. There is a dishwasher which is only about two years old. While standing at the corner sink you can look out two windows to see the back and side yards of the property. The kitchen, living room, and all three bedrooms each have a ceiling fan with three lights. The house has 4 exhaust fans: over the kitchen stove, in the hallway, and in each of the bathrooms. The house has two exterior doors, one on the back, off the kitchen/laundry area, and one on the front between the dining and living room. The laundry room area has room for a washer and dryer, and a small cabinet. There is a shelf, and two cabinets with doors above the washer/dryer area. Next to the laundry area is the water heater closet. The closet in front of the water heater panel has one shelf, and can easily be converted into a pantry using a free standing shelf. Each bedroom has a roomy walk in closet with shelves, and double hanging racks on one or two sides of the closet for hanging shirts and pants. One side of each closet has a higher shelf/clothes bar for hanging dresses or storing taller items. Each bedroom, and the hall bath have extra shelves built about a foot down from the ceiling for additional storage, or for displaying collectibles. The master bathroom has a garden tub, a nice sized shower, and two sinks with cabinets underneath. The hall bathroom has a sink with a cabinet underneath, and a bathtub/shower. The hallway past the front two bedrooms to the hall bath, and master bedroom is very wide, large enough to put a file cabinet in one corner, and another smaller piece of furniture in another corner. There are two windows in the kitchen, two windows in the dining room, two windows in the living room, one window in each of the front bedrooms, two windows in the master bedroom, and a decorative octagon window above the garden tub in the master bathroom.
